And what better way to celebrate than with a brand new contest? 8D

THEME

So, here's the theme - Vulpixi-Misa and I wanted to go back to the club’s roots a little.  

A brief history of the Pokémon Trainer Fan Club - Misa and I are both huge fans of the Pokémon Trainer from Smash Bros. Brawl (who we just call Red, because we consider him the same guy as from the games).  He gets little love in the Smash fandom, especially compared to Pit, Link, and so on, so we decided to make a club dedicated just to him.

We know a lot of people also love the old-school, badass Red from the first Pokémon games.  We accepted pics of him because, like I said, we consider him the same guy.  We decided to make the club dedicated to Game!Reds in general.

We wanted to bring the two sides of the Red fans together: the old-school Red and the new…school Red. 8D

So, our theme is –

the Pokémon Trainer from Brawl interacting with the original ^P_K^M_N Trainer Red!

RULES

> Both the Pokémon Trainer from Brawl AND Red from the original Pokémon games must be in the pic.  They can be hanging out, showing each other their Pokémon, having a battle, just posing, whatever!

> We highly encourage that you include their Pokémon in the pic!  Pokémon Trainer’s are Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard.  Trainer Red is of course the protagonist of his games, so it can be any Pokémon of your choosing.  When he appears in Gold and Silver, he has Pikachu, Espeon, Snorlax, Blastoise, Venusaur, and Charizard.  Don’t feel limited, though!

> We also encourage you to include Brawl characters such as Pit, Link, Ike, whoever, and characters from the Pokémon games, such as gym leaders and other trainers!

> Please submit to the proper folder.  It will be entitled ‘Contest 3 – Old School Red and New School Red’.  Any entries not submitted to the folder, we will ask you to move.

> No tracings, anime recolors, or anything breaking DA’s rules will be accepted.

> Please no bashing of either Red or any other characters. :’(
